اضرار طلاء الاظافر: هل مجففات طلاء الأظافر تسبب السرطان؟
إن مخاطر طلاء الأظافر في ذاته كثيرة وعديدة، ناهيك عن مجففات طلاء الأظافر. وكشف الدراسة أن مجففات الأظافر تسبب طفرة في الخلايا التي بدورها تفتح الباب للخلايا السرطانية أن تتشكل وتتغول في الجسد. تلك الأجهزة المحففة تستخدم الأشعة ما فوق البنفسجية UV light لتجفيف الأظافر كما هو موضح بالصورة.
أجريت الدراسة بجامعة كاليفورنيا سان دييغو على يد باحثين من الجامعة. إن خطر الأشعة ما فوق النفسجية ليس جديداً ولكن هذه الدراسة أظهرت أنها أخطر حتى مما توقعنا.
يقول كاتب الرسالة أنك إن اشتريت أياً من تلك المجففات فإنك ستجد عبارة “آمن وصالح للإستخدام الآدمي” ولكن الحقيقة هى أنه لم تجرَ أية دراسات أو أبحاث عن مدى سلامة تلك المجففات وصلاحيتها للإستخدام الآدمي من عدمه.
أجرى الباحثون فحصاً على ثلاثة عوامل وهى خلايا الكيرياتين الموجود في جلد الإنسان والخلية الليفية البشرية إضافة إلى خلايا الفئران. وكشفت الدراسة أن الخلايا التي تعرضت لإشعاع مجفف الأظافر مات حوالي 20% منها بعد حوالي 20 دقيقة فقط من تعرضها للجهاز.
وتقول الدراسة أن الحمض النووي في تلك الخلايا كان يتلف باستمرار ويموت دون أن يتمكن من تجديد نفسه مما يؤدي إلى طفرات في الحمض النووي للخلايا مما يسبب السرطان. وأضاف الباحثون أن الدراسة تحتاج إلى موارد أكثر وإلى بحث أكثر لمعرفة الآثار الجانبية على المدى البعيد.
ولكن حتى على المدى القريب تبدو هذه الدراسة صادمة للغاية، فكم واحدة منا تستخدم طلاء الأظافر ومجففات طلاء الأظافر على الأقل مرة في الشهر. أخبرينا في التعليقات هل ستتوقفين عن استخدام طلاء الأظافر كما قررت أحد العاملات على الدراسة وتوقفت عن استخدام طلاء الأظافر تماماً، أم أنك ستكملين إلى حين إثبات الأمر بدراسات أخرى؟
